INSOR Establishes Youth Information Equality Program

On June 9th and 10th, a two-day training session was held by the Institute of Contemporary Development (INSOR) called the Youth Information Equality Program, which is designed to help young people acquire necessary life and career skills. Young men ages 14 to 20 from all over the Moscow area took part in the event. Representatives of non-profit organizations and youth groups lauded the project as a sorely-needed assistance for socially-vulnerable members of the local community. The project also works to develop new group trainers from all across the Moscow Region.

INSOR Experts Seek to Define Boundaries of the Middle Class

A group of sociological and economic experts met at the Institute of Contemporary Development (INSOR) to provide situational analysis aimed at defining the boundaries of the middle class in Russia. The meeting was moderated the INSOR Executive Board Member Evgeny Gontmakher (head of the Center for Social Policy, Institute of Economy, Russian Academy of Science).
