The Institute of Contemporary Development hosted a roundtable entitled “Sustainable Development of Municipal Entities and a Local Government: Patterns of Cooperation between Theoretical and Practical Experts”.

The agenda comprised the following issues:

- creation of online communities for theoretical and practical experts specializing in various industries http://solex-un.ru/

- a project of an online community aimed at theoretical and practical experts specializing in sustainable development of municipal entities and in a local government;

- prospects of implementation of suggestions on development of a local government (featuring in a report by INSOR “Russian Local Government: Results of the 2003-2008 Municipal Reform and Ways for Improvement”.
