Institute of Contemporary Development Chairman Igor Yurgens met with Kwak Seung-Jun, Chairman of the Presidential Council for Future and Vision of the Republic of Korea, at the Institute of Contemporary Development on September 8. The Council’s function is to develop strategies for the country’s administration and give recommendations on a variety of topics to the Korean president. These topics include foreign policy and national security, new economic policies, education and cultural reforms, etc.
The Korean guests were briefed on INSOR’s functions and accomplishments, as well as on a number of Russia’s domestic and foreign policy priorities. Kwak Seung-Jun expressed interest in developing contacts between his Council and INSOR.
