Prospects for Pension System Reform Addressed by Yurgens at INSOR Round Table

Experts from The Institute of Contemporary Development (INSOR) are accustomed to tackling Russia’s largest problems. Most recently they have taken on the task of ensuring the welfare of Russia’s pension-aged population by looking at how to reform the pension system. INSOR Chairman of the Board Igor Yurgens hosted a discussion forum on the topic. Participants from The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Institute of Development of Social Insurance, and from non-state pension fund Welfare programs were joined at the roundtable by: Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia M. Shmakov, Chairman of Coordinating Council of Employers of Russia (KSORR) O. Eremeev, INSOR Board member and Director of the Independent Institute of Social Policy T. Maleva, and Chairman of the National Advice Association of Non-State Pension Funds K. Ugrjumov.
