General Director of the Amedia Group. Mr. Volin graduated with degrees in History and Linguistics from the Institute of Asian and African Countries at Moscow State University. He worked in various positions at the Novosti press agency (renamed the RIA Novosti in 1991). From 1998-2000 he served as chairman of the Management Board of RIA Novosti, 1998 – Deputy Head of Public Relations for the Presidential Administration, 2000-2003 – Deputy Head of the Cabinet Apparatus, 2003-2007 – President of Rodionov Publishing House.
